Written by Pastor Brent Brondyke Our Family’s Musical History The Lord began moving Debi and me (and Evan) to Friendship almost ten years ago. It was an unexpected process but has been a great blessing to our family. In our previous ministry, we, and I say “we” because the level of family involvement […]
Written by Pastor Kris Wilder Pastor Vradenburgh has frequently said that our Missions Conference is the highlight of Friendship’s church calendar. As a former missionary himself, Pastor has faithfully led Friendship to know the blessing of giving to and praying for “God’s choice servants.” This year’s conference was no exception as several people commented that […]
written by Erica Baldwin “Our Christian life can’t be static,” speaker Beth Lynch advised, encouraging a group of nearly 90 ladies to press on toward their heavenly prize during Friendship Baptist Church’s brunch on February 12. This is God’s intention for His church, and we must unite to pursue it if we are to have spiritual success.
If Jesus is our teacher and example in prayer, certainly there are truths which we can glean by carefully observing His prayers with His disciples. As Pastor Vradenburgh opened up several texts in this light, our eyes were opened to many prayer-enriching truths!
One of the divine titles ascribed to Jesus is “Wonderful.” The Hebrew word translated to wonderful means miraculous. Men speak of many man-made wonders which may inspire some sense of awe, but what are these compared with the wonders of creation? Moreover, what are the wonders of creation compared with the wonders of the Creator!
