Together We Bloom – Ladies’ Retreat

Please plan to join us!  We pray that relationships will be formed or strengthened, that we will encourage and provide accountability for one another, and that we will grow closer to Christ together.  

HOW TO REGISTER:

   • Mail the form with payment: Friendship Baptist Church  |  Attn. Heather Jones  |  5510 Falls of Neuse Rd.  |  Raleigh, NC 27609
   • Place the form with payment in an offering envelope designated “Ladies’ Retreat”.  Give the envelope to an usher or greeter as you enter for a church service.
   • Drop the form with payment at the church office.  (Monday – Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm)

Please register and pay your balance by Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Together We Bloom – Ladies’ Retreat

“Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.”  I Peter 3:8

We need each other! 

Scripture assures us of this, and simple observation constantly bears it out. God has given us a wonderful church family with manifold gifts. Yes!—each of us has a special gift very much needed by the Body of Christ. Whether you are confident in your gifts or even wondering what your gift may be, we pray that you will consider making plans to get away with the ladies in your church family to enjoy a time of benefiting from and blooming in one another’s fellowship and ministry.

You can count on hearing testimonies from ladies that you know (or should get to know!). We will enjoy an opportunity to study the Bible with a small group of ladies—we need the Word of God to dwell richly in us! Attendees will also participate in a time of corporate prayer. Fellowship, Scripture, prayer—don’t miss this precious time together.

Together We Bloom:

• Encouraged in the Lord through fellowship, fun, and opportunities for spiritual reflection.
• Strengthened in your relationships with God and others in your church family.  You will leave with a new friend or perhaps a renewed acquaintance. 
• Refreshed by meeting in a comfortable location that minimizes familiar distractions.  Getting away helps us sustain a focus on the Lord. 

LOCATION:  Caraway Conference Center

SCHEDULE:

Friday, June 4 

• 8:30 am – meet at FBC for continental breakfast
• 9:00 am – depart via coach bus
• 11:00 am – arrive at Caraway
• 12:00 pm – lunch
• 1:00 pm – Activities (some free, some extra cost – something for everyone!)
• 5:30 pm – Dinner
• 7:00 pm – Session 1
• 9:00 pm – *Optional – S’mores around the campfire

Saturday, June 5

• 7:30 am – Breakfast (snacks provided if you don’t want to get up that early)
• 8:30 am – Session 2
• 9:45 am – Break
• 10:45 am – Session 3
• 12:00 pm – Lunch
• 1:30 pm – Session 4
• 3:30 pm – Depart
• 5:30 pm – Arrive at FBC

COST:

1.  Package 1 – $130 (Ask about family discount)
   • Room with a friend – Includes snacks, 4 meals, and continental breakfast on Friday morning.
2. Package 2 – $160
   • Room alone – Includes snacks, 4 meals, and continental breakfast on Friday morning.

OTHER INFORMATION:

1.  Towels and bedding are provided.  These are hotel-style accommodations.
2. The entire retreat is informal – attire is casual.
3. With the exception of optional outdoor activities, the entire retreat will be held in one building.
4. There are elevators and coffee stations available.
5. Please indicate any special needs and roommate requests when you sign up.

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS:

1.  Coach Bus – If there is enough interest, we will drive a bus to the Conference Center.
2. Carpool – If you are interested in driving, please indicate the number of passengers you can take, and other information on the registration form.
3. Drive Alone – A packet will be provided that will include contact numbers and directions.
