Our desire is that we as a church grow in spiritual maturity into the likeness of Christ and be bound together in love and unity. Unity among believers is possible only when it is built upon the foundation of the gospel. We seek to help all people pursue a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ through solid Bible preaching and teaching. Adults

From our Sunday morning Bible classes to one-on-one discipleship, we’re serious about studying God’s Word together and encouraging each other with the truths we’re learning. We also recognize the joy and support found in Christian fellowship and provide many ways for adult members to serve together and to connect.

Young Adults

Young adults need intentional, caring relationships centered on God’s Word. We’re focused on reaching young men and women of college age, recent grads, and young married couples as they navigate early adulthood. We desire to help apply biblical training to work, independence, and family life by providing opportunities for growth in knowledge, understanding and practical life application of the truths of the Word given to us by God. Ministerio Hispano

Nuestra misión es glorificar a Dios y extender Su reino viviendo y predicando Su verdad en el mundo. Ofrecemos un servicio matutino en español y la Escuela Dominical Latinos en la Luz, así como un estudio bíblico los miércoles por la noche. Dios está llevando a cabo una obra en la vida de los creyentes hispanos de tal manera que su fe se fortalece y se les anima a dar pasos aún mayores en su caminar con el Señor.

Teens

The passion of the FBC Student Ministry is to connect teens to God through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We pray that our students will know God personally, grow to love Him more and more, and as a result, desire to glorify and serve Him by serving those around us. Our student ministry involves Bible teaching, service projects, outreach, missions trips, fun events, and more! We do our best to encourage each other, all while having a blast!

Children

The goal of our children’s ministry is to partner with parents in teaching their children God’s Word and leading lives that are centered on Christ. We want our children to develop a biblical concept of God, to grow to love Him deeply, and to allow His character to shape their thinking and behavior. From Sunday school and junior church on Sunday to Friendship Kids and youth meetings on Wednesday, FBC has a variety of safe, age-specific ministries geared to ground children in the rich truths of the Bible.

Friendship Christian School seeks to provide an excellent educational experience from a biblical worldview in order to produce the next generation of well-rounded servant leaders. FCS helps prepare preschool and K-12 students by creating a compassionate community where knowledge is pursued with excellence, where faith is rooted in Christ, and where character is exemplified through service to God.

Missions

Because FBC exists to glorify God through the salvation of souls and the edification of believers, worldwide evangelism is a core emphasis at Friendship. We prayerfully and financially support many missionaries both in the United States and around the world who are involved in church planting, discipleship of new believers, and training of national pastors.

Proclaiming His Excellencies

In 1 Peter 2:9, Peter tells us that God has redeemed Christians so “that [we] should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” We serve a magnificently gracious God who has forgiven our sins and has satisfied our souls. And because we love Him, we desire to “proclaim His excellencies” to all who will listen.

About Friendship Baptist Church

Our purpose is to make much of our Lord Jesus Christ and His gospel through the preaching of His Word and the making of disciples. At Friendship Baptist Church (FBC) we teach the Bible in order to facilitate spiritual growth in all of God’s people and to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship. God has graciously used Friendship to further His work both locally and across the globe since 1965.
